since the american people refuse to let Alaskans make a living except in a few circumstances, Salmon fishing being one of them a few advertising dollars is not much to ask. Alaskan salmon numbers are dropping because of bottom trawlers from asia scraping the north pacific bare, habitat for salmon in alaska is not threatened at all. Since the feds subsidise that crap that is called farmed atlantic salmon and refuse to label wild caught salmon organic a few pence towards advertising how good the real stuff tastes is chump change compared to the oil you consume.
