New Windows icon esthetics
The XP icon style bothered me for some reason, but I could not put my finger on it for a while. Then suddenly it dawned on me that the soft fluffy pastel look makes them look like goddam baby toys.

New Where the heck have you been living...
...for the last five years -- in a cave?

How the fuck else could it be that you haven't heard the expression "Fisher-Price interface", which has been in pretty wide-spread use ever since Windows XP appeared on the market?

Your lies are of Microsoftian Scale and boring to boot. Your 'depression' may be the closest you ever come to recognizing truth: you have no 'inferiority complex', you are inferior - and something inside you recognizes this. - [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=71575|Ashton Brown]
New Never heard it either
Darrell Spice, Jr. [link|http://spiceware.org/gallery/ArtisticOverpass|Artistic Overpass]\n[link|http://www.spiceware.org/|SpiceWare] - We don't do Windows, it's too much of a chore
New I heard it within days of the XP release.

New :)
In my defence, I feel obligated to point out that I managed a double hit in two sentences. It took you a lot more than that to get three:)

New Three? Count again.
New No, *you* boil some ammonium nitrate.
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Huh?
The ammonium nitrate was when I was making laughing gas, ie: nitrous oxide.
New ...
Question not the LRPD, foo'.
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New What does he need to do,
"What does he need to do, take off one glove and grab his crotch?"

Cheers,
Scott.
(Who hope z version 2 has longer Subject fields.)
New Dunno... But isn't Fisher-Price a USAmerican brand?
Which would make the US seem more plausible as the origin.

(And, hey -- wouldn't it be ironic -- are the Teletubbies European?)
