I recently replaced my dying Linksys with a Belkin gateway:

I am SHOCKED how fast my network seems. It is purely subjective, though, since I don't have any measurements before the replacement. But I'm pretty sure I wasn't getting anything this good.

I can pull 700KB per second (as reported by firefox download window) from the web. I was under the impression that my cable modem was locked at 4Mbit, it: 400KB per second.

Obviously not!
