New Re: More input needed
Over what timeframe is the 1140 and 691 minutes recorded? Was that 1140 minutes of mouse usage in a week and 691 minutes of keyboard usage in a week?

Yes, the 1140 is mouse use since August 1st and ending at August 7th, and the 691 is keyboard use since August 1st and ending at August 7th.

Does that help?

Yup.

Average use per day, then, is the number minutes used in the week divided by the number of days, so:

Mouse: 1140/7 = 162.86 minutes, or 2 hrs 42.86 mins average per day
Keyboard: 691/7 = 98.71 minutes, or 1 hour 38.71 average per day

Thanks Steve. Chris also did it, and you match. I was initially using the number of 1180 mouse hours from August 1 to August 10th, I got 118 mouse hours in those 10 days, and then I divided by 9 and got 19. Now I see where I went wrong, first the 10 days was too much for a week, I needed to stop at the 7th. Second, I think I had the 19 right but I was thinking it was hours, not minutes and I knew if overall usage averaged to 7 hrs a day, mouse would not be able to be 19. Then after that, my logic failed.

Thanks again

Brenda
