Geez louise the past few days have been CRUSHING to witness various big free agents sign with other teams and the Leafs basically do zippo. All those players that gave lip service about wanting to play in Toronto, well, it just goes to show you that the number one motivating factor is money. (There are the odd exceptions, Jeff O'Neil and likely Jason Allison, but DAMN!)

Man if I was a Philly fan I'd be tickled pink right now. The only spot that would have me worried is in goal. For the regular season that wouldn't be a problem but the playoffs are a different story. If Clarke dumps some salary (he has to as Philly is over the cap) and manages to land the Bulin Wall somehow cheaply, plan the parade route.

It's called CFL football. Despite not having the absolute best athletes the games tend to be more exciting than the No Fun League.
