Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Really? Not yet, I'd have thought.
IME, at his age they're still a little too young for that. But give Sam another year or three, and then he'll be *really* fun to play with! :-)

Your lies are of Microsoftian Scale and boring to boot. Your 'depression' may be the closest you ever come to recognizing truth: you have no 'inferiority complex', you are inferior - and something inside you recognizes this. - [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=71575|Ashton Brown]
New Oh he's fun, alright
Just limited in what he can do.

It looks like he is discovering the game known as "stairs". I'll have to do something about that. :-(

Cheers,
Ben

New You introduce him to the puzzle known as "gate".

"This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen and uncertainty and potential mental losses."   --George W. Bush
New And when you put it up top, don't put it *right* at the top
Or when he figures out how to climb over, that first step will be a bitch.

New I intend to
We're getting a safety expert on Saturday, and my wife was holding off on getting gates until we got his advice on brands.

Note, when I said, "It looks like he is discovering the game known as 'stairs'," I meant right at that moment. I began typing that as I saw him crawl over to the bottom of the stairs and look up. By the time I finished the post and got over there, he'd managed to put both hands on the bottom step, stand up, and was trying to figure out how to get his knee up...

Cheers,
Ben

New hope your not paying him
"well, if he falls down the stairs it will hurt, $250.00 please" Did either of your parents hire "safety experts"? Depending on the configuration you need to buy a gate device that will fit, that does not have a current recall notice and one you can easily open and close that the little bugger cant figure out. Get the plastic locks for all cabinets he can reach. Recall the party, Scott's littlun only wanted to go where he shouldnt, typical kid behavior.
thanx,
bill

New Actually we are
We're paying for CPR/first aid for babies. While he's there, might as well get safety advice, but the big deal is the CPR training.

Cheers,
Ben
