New Go on...
Could you expand your statement, such as what, in particular, the reviewer is delusional about? I ponder reviews and trailers carefully before watching a film.

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
- Mark Renton, Trainspotting.
New I'm trying to decide ...
... the ratio of sarcasm to sincerity in that last line.

New No sarcasm here
Despite drewk's doubts, I don't do subtle sarcasm. I really would like andread to expand his comments. ben_tilly's message would be an example. I would like to know if Hollywood can rehash a sci-fi story without wrecking it for excessive angst and adrenal pumping.

New Re: Go on...
The 'reviewer' must be referring to the opening scenes
Tom C is dying to leave work and get home
His boss wants him to work more
Tom blows him off and claims protection from the boss
from his union rules
His boss is uncool and Tom does blow him off
but he doesn't dis unions in any way and
is merely trying to go home
how this matches the 'reviewer' is beyond me
