It was uneven at best
Minor spoiler alert. I am not giving away anything critical to the plot, only minor details that annoyed me.
Overall it is good. But it is inconsistent. It careens between very good and very bad. It is certainly a welcome change from stories of good old human ingenuity saving the day. But there are glaring inconsistencies. For instance all electrical equipment has been destroyed and there is a working camcorder?? After several days of wholesale destruction, there is an untouched neighbourhood at the end?? After several days of people being killed, particularly in large groups, people are still gathering in large groups??
But if you ignore details like that, it is enjoyable.
