Of course, Kurtz might be right about that too. Do we as Americans care if our troops are out there dying? And is it even news anymore?

This is an expected event. The places change. The number of dead change. But the fact that Americans continue to die for this President's mistakes is not news. That is neither, 'the sky is blue' (again) nor ho-hum - it is a factoid to be folded in with whatever else one can glean, as indicates "how It is going over there" - where so many $B / and US at-risk persons are temporarily-?? residing. I believe that the (expected) Red-State mindset wants ALL negative reports to disappear, and that is the crux of the intended maligning of these messengers. Could that be other than obvious?
