I agree that it would be nice if Democrats stood up against this, hell, I'd be happy if Liberatians stood up against this.... ...but it doesn't excuse the party in power from pushing it. Postscript: Just remember kiddies, the 9/11 hijackers did NOT using false ids on 9/11. They used their REAL NAMES. (We're just fixing the non-existant problem.)
