The first part of that sentence was, "If you are using Active Desktop (i.e. single click)".

HTF could anyone *not* expect to have to go through some contortions, if they're trying to "just hold down the control key while you double-click" -- on a desktop configured to go off at a single click?

Anyway, anyone who activates that shit deserves whatver they've got coming, IMO.
