In either case, what is this supposed to prove? Is there a real-world use for this in place of existing tools? I mean, I can pipe the output of nslookup to ping and get all the nameservers for that domain. Bind won't do it automagically, as that would break DNS according to the RFCs... It works on so many platforms it isn't even funny. I like Bind, because I know it. MaraDNS is easy, very easy.
