Way too good for Christians who are supposed to be rejecting the pleasures of this life in favor of a sanitized heaven in the next.
Easter is a pagan holiday anyway - it's named for Ostra, a Scandanavian fertility goddess who's special symbols were the egg and over-sexed bunnys. The early churches adopted the whole ball of wax and added a little Jesus stuff over it to get the peasants to convert.
The elder churches (Catholic, Orthodox, Armenian, etc.) adopted so much pagan stuff you can only call them "Christian" as a courtesy, but then Christianity started out with plenty of pagan stuff to begin with (Cult of the Dying God, etc.) and has to go through contortions to convince itself it's even "monotheistic".
Anyway, I had tender, tasty [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/clove/recipes/tmm_lambleg1.html|Leg of Lamb with Herb Marinade] (the marinade does double duty as sauce) and a [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/clove/recipes/tsg_pilafgbl1.html|Pilaf with Chick Peas & Lentils].
