New And then there's the other opinion
George Harrison? Who?

Should I give my real opinion?

I'd feel worse if the Curious George books went out of print.

In other words, George Harrison means nothing to me. The Beetles had a couple of songs I liked. I am not in mourning. I will refrain from expressing more disgust.

New Frankly, Scarlet.. I don't give a damn
As with those "who don't 'like' Bach": now one knows about them, but what about Bach?

The Beatles were best experienced in context of the times, as a quantum leap in the depth and quality of so-called Popular er 'music'. Since you weren't even a lascivious thought at the time of their birth: you missed it, sonny. Boy did you Miss It.

So you may add this It you didn't get - to that growing list of other Its you have demonstrated, you cannot grok. Dysfunctionality is an impediment which it is best not to mock in others, though - It is its own reward, and you're a Winner there. So to speak.

New Hmm... I "grok" it...
Although I was born after their heyday, for some reason I can really get into their music.

And hearing of George's passing made me sad. My wife and I sat down, hauled out some CDs, and listened to a bunch of their music, and then we felt somewhat better - for all die someday, but to achieve what they did is to not waste the gift that we are given, this brief passage through the stream of time...
