and you have 2 galons of liquid and a hole that is smaller than a silver dollar you can heal it for less than $7.00. Next time you are in the autoparts place ask to look for their gastank and radiator stop leak putty. It will look like 2 strips of clay, one grey one black that when you knead them together then apply a cone shape to the hole, will harden to the strength of steel. Now its not a total cure as an old radiator needs eventual replacing, I think you are getting hosed on the labor but that warranty is worth that. You are the type to keep the car at all reasonable cost. Now the same stuff works on gas tanks, and replacing a gas tank is lots more expensive than a radiator. So keep it in mind, fix the immediate need and save up for the real repairs.
