But officials said the report by the Homeland Security Department and the FBI concludes that commercial airlines also remain susceptible to attack, despite billions of dollars worth of security investments. Moreover, members of al-Qaida are believed to be examining and testing U.S. security systems for weaknesses, officials said. One of the things I liked most about Kerry's campaign is that not one time - not ONE time, did he ever ask for a TFR despite the fact that he was entitled to them. All anyone needs to know about how unlikely it is for GA aircraft to be targetted by terrierists is to look at what happened to that poor kid in FL. But, don't let's get confused with irrefutable evidence. The sad thing is that when it comes to liberty and freedom, general aviation is where we still have the rest of world's ass kicked (despite the efforts of the current junta). But I fear its only a matter of time. In the short time that I've been flying there have already been horrendously idiotic "new rules and regulations" involving flight.
