[link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/results.php?hostid=40430|Host 40430], you've completed 2 work units and gotten credit for them. You have 4 work units in progress. The [link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/workunit.php?wuid=366948|first] is 1/4 done with 3 machines still working on it. The [link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/workunit.php?wuid=360886|second] is 1/4 done with 3 machines still working on it. The [link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/workunit.php?wuid=360090|third] has 4 machines working on it. The [link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/workunit.php?wuid=357913|fourth] is waiting for your machine to finish.
Our G5 has 5 open work units. My two PCs each only have 2 open work units. I think it only feeds your client enough data to do in a given time period, so you probably won't get any new stuff to download until your 4th unit is completed. But I wonder if you're still seeing effects of your phantom PC. Maybe it's waiting for the "other" PC to report something?
On the CPU usage: Is there any way you can tell the Linux BOINC client to run all the time? On Winders it defaults to stopping processing if you do anything, then takes ~ 3 minutes to start up again.
Otherwise, I don't know what's up and would have to do some googling.
HTH.
Cheers,
Scott.
