Er... Shift-PrintScreen
grabs the active window

I know :)
Actually, it's alt-Print Screen, but no matter.
I didn't want the active window furniture; was trying to keep the images physically small whilst still keeping enough in them so that you could see the HRULE in its context.

Interesting note:
OS X is the only operating system of the three to ship with a tool for taking a picture of part of the screen (Grab).
Could someone please contribute shots of Opera and maybe Gecko-based browser(Firefox/Camino) on OS X?

Huh? So does Windows; it has done so since at least v 3.0!
Ever wondered what the "Print Screen" (or, often, "PtScrn") button does...?

Not what I meant.
Grab lets you drag a rectangle over the area of the screen you want.
Neither GNOME nor Windows have anything like this; you end up post-producing in Paint or GThumb (GThumb's crop tool is cack, by the way).

That's what I used.
And I still had to use Paint to crop the images.

You'll just have to trust me.
I really have no emotional stake in how various browsers render the horizontal rule.
