My wife works for a large health care provider in BC. It seems that network performance in the office where she works has been deteriorating for the past couple of weeks. On Wednesday, nothing. Call went out to a tech to "fix the server". He determined the problem wasn't with the server, but with the network connection. Seems there's a building under construction across the street. Right in the path of the wireless signal. So the antenna needs to be raised a couple of meters to clear the new building. But oops, it belongs to Telus, a large phone company. So it will be one to two weeks to get that done. In the mean time the office workers are unable to access their intranet. They're back to using paper.
Have fun,
