What offspring?
Judging by his age and apparent preoccupation, I doubt he has any; if not, he should be up for a Darwin as he's prolly out of the gene pool permanently.

I'm pretty certain there's precedence as well.
I remember reading the Darwin awards last year, and finding some guy had removed himself without killing himself.

Yup, that doesn't work.
I remember back in the days of printed personals, many women's ads stated "no vasectomies", and I'm sure a far larger group felt the same but didn't state it out loud.

I love her dearly, far beyond any creature I've ever known, and I can prove it, for never once in almost seventy years of married life have I taken her by the throat. Mind you, it's been a near thing once or twice.
