Welcome to IWETHEY!

New You're a quirky bunch, arent you?
Thanks for your introductions and welcomes.
-"I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers."
New Nah, just a few of us
The real quirks are located in politics and religion.

We're usually pretty nice when hangin' 'round the water cooler.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New Mostly just diverse
got folks from America to Australia, and several points inbetween. Jobs range from programmers to scientists, military, and even the occasional journalist. Some come here for the debates others to learn; many for both. One thing to remember while you're here, try not to take anything personnally; we don't intend to offend, but sometimes things can get a little out of hand.

He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country..."

New Local choice of armament is the flamethrower. :D
New Quirky wouldn't be my choice of adjectives...
...but its probably alot more work friendly :-)

New A Sam Peckinpah production
The Quirky Bunch. A band of renegades and refugees from real life with the ability to leap to conclusions faster than a speeding simile. Caustic wit and an unfortunate attraction to puns make them the death of the party.

Fear the Quirky Bunch.

New We are. And that's a good thing!
You may or may not have seen [link|http://www.paulgraham.com/say.html|http://www.paulgraham.com/say.html]. It is a good read about why it is important to be willing to buck the popular consensus (even though you'll sometimes surely be wrong to do so).

New 'No idea is so overlooked as one that is unthinkable..'
As so frequently, amidst your peripatetic perusing - Nice Find!

Unassailable even, your Mr. Graham (well.. except by prigs everywhere).

Mr. Graham has pie.

Lo, I have become Death. [link|http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/art.htm| Stealer of pie].
New No, just ask Bepatient's friend....
We are all Child Molesters.

Believe me, we aren't... just that his friend caled us that one year, when she found out we were friends from an ONLINE area.

Hilarious though... touchy it can be as it ain't a laughing matter.

Anyway, Welcome.

And Tell you what, I show you [link|http://www.gregfolkert.net/pics|mine], if you show me yours.

And, yes Quirky would be one word, Sick and Demented are two more.

New Warped.. twisted requires so much dedication.
New This online community
has been around for over ten years now and has survived two moves (starting out as simply the discussion forums at Info World Electric (online edition)).

We know each other's online personas so well that its hardly worth starting a new argument as we generally can predict where its going to end up ahead of time.

New blood is definitely welcome.

New I thought he worked on RedHat v 7.3
New Its all very complicated
I have Mac at home (and take it with me to work since there's wireless on the ferry). My work "productivity" machine is a lame hp toy laptop running WindBlows XPee - required primarily to use MS ButtLick for calendaring and email.

Actual software development (which I don't really do much anymore except in an explorational and testing capacity as I am now a dev manager) occurs on the ancient machina con sombrero rojo.

Hope this clears it all up.

Was "Iff yu cn rede ths".

Good find!

Recommend on Firefox install: install the dependencies (xpi's) first, then the actual extension.
New Hey, it works here too! :-) Moz 1.71/Win32.
