The lesson, since you all seem to have missed it, is: those who don't deserve respect don't get any. It's not just that you lost. That's not what it's about. It's the *way* you lost, and the way you reacted afterward. The squishy left in this country have a lot of growing up to do. And the hard Left can go to hell.

There are honorable defeats, but as a rule, only honorable people are defeated in that way. Which reminds me... wasn't it nice the way Dubya greeted Joe Lieberman? Very nonpartisan, that. On both sides.
