Welcome to IWETHEY!

New need an elogbook
old fart sysadmins kept a system log of work done on boxes, usually in a composition book that would log changes, upgrades restarts so the next engineer presented with a problem could see what has changed lately. Rather than re-invent the wheel I'm sure that vi and flat files are not the best solution, what do the rest of the folks use? This looks interesting, sits on top of twiki I suspect
[link|http://gan.desy.de/guestelog/index.jsp|http://gan.desy.de/guestelog/index.jsp] but I have waited 3 hrs for a copy of the scripts. Meanwhile have downloaded twiki and am looking into modifications to see If I can make something similar. The IWETHEY engine would be perfect so when the heck is it gonna be ready? :-)

I love her dearly, far beyond any creature I've ever known, and I can prove it, for never once in almost seventy years of married life have I taken her by the throat. Mind you, it's been a near thing once or twice.

just create a heirarchy and populate with blosxom. Webserver with CGI/Perl is all that is needed.

No matter how much Microsoft supporters whine about how Linux and other operating systems have just as many bugs as their operating systems do, the bottom line is that the serious, gut-wrenching problems happen on Windows, not on Linux, not on Mac OS. -- [link|http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1622086,00.asp|source]
