Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Sleepless last night myself
Back pain - couldn't sleep.

Luckily I had the option to take the day, my 'must do' stuff I could do from home.

My sympathies.

Imric's Tips for Living
  • Paranoia Is a Survival Trait
  • Pessimists are never disappointed - but sometimes, if they are very lucky, they can be pleasantly surprised...
  • Even though everyone is out to get you, it doesn't matter unless you let them win.

Nothing is as simple as it seems in the beginning,
As hopeless as it seems in the middle,
Or as finished as it seems in the end.

New So I'm draining the bed
And I start peeling the mattress up.

I had not unplugged the heater.

As I pull the mattress off the heater, it sparks and burns a hole in the liner and the mattress. The matress one does not go all the way through.

Hmmm.

A bit of packing tape should take care of this.
New NOAH!? How long can you tred water?
New It might be better to get some sleep first...
Hang in there. Good luck with the patching!

Cheers,
Scott.
New Famous last words.
Regards,

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Time to go back to the army cot.
New Ummm
Are you SURE the hole in the mattress won't 'give'? That much water might make for LESS sleep one night in the future...

New Sure I'm sure
The one in the mattress isn't a hole, more like a spot
where the plastic from the liner touched it.

I put tape over it to reinforce it anyway.
New Just anticipating Murphy!

New Get a bicycle inner tube repair kit
those work just as well and are cheaper than the repair kits sold in waterbed stores
