New Using it dual screen?

New Re: Using it dual screen?
You mean as one extra-wide, combined screen? Yes.

The laptop has Win 2K on it, so setting up to use both screens works fine. The Taskbar at the bottom starts on the laptop and extends onto the Flatron, so the Time and system icons are in the Flatron's lower right hand corner, and the 'Start' button is on the laptop's lower left hand corner. We've tried numerous options to keep the Taskbar limited to only one LCD panel - nothing works.

Of course, one of the other contractors has Win XP on his Thinkpad, and his Taskbar fits just right on the laptop's screen while he uses the Flatron to keep open Outlook and MS SQL Server Enterprise Manager. That's the setup we were trying to replicate.

New Take a look at Ultramon

I mainly used it for the ability to have a dedicated taskbar on each screen. It does a bunch of other stuff too.

New Yep
I also second checking into UltraMon.

Checking the resolution is a good suggestion as well. LCD monitors do a much better job of scaling non-native resolutions than they used to, but they will produce a fuzy image if the resolution isn't native.

New how do you set dual screen with win2k?
I love her dearly, far beyond any creature I've ever known, and I can prove it, for never once in almost seventy years of married life have I taken her by the throat. Mind you, it's been a near thing once or twice.
