I have been running it for quite a while and have had no leakage. (Anal or otherwise) Have you tried to restart the X Server? (/etc/init.d/[gkt]wm stop etc...) Did the memory get released? If not, then it is something else. Kernel? Before I did that I tried killing Mozilla, swap didn't go down.
