I thought that Fallen cheated a little bit. The demon spoke with Denzel Washington's voice at the opening and in the voiceover, but Denzel Washington died at the end of the movie. That was a bit disappointing to me, since the people who made the movie played absolutely fair in every other respect: there was no deus (or diabolous) ex machina at all. I think that if they had tried harder they might have been able to fix that hole.


But all in all I thought it was an excellent movie.
