It would give me reason to try it, but so far nothing MS has offered to remove it has actually removed IE. Of course despite their claims that it can't be removed, we all remember Win98Lite which wasn't from MS

Yep, works as advertised -- now up to 3.5 years on original squeaky-clean Install.
Only a vestige, stub? of IE allegedly remains; no directories, no duels for 'default', no original spamware even got copied.

Hmm, time to check Guinness - anyone else seen an install of 9.x (in daily use) go that long sans RRR?





'Course too.. I never ask the sucker to do more than two things at once or 'sleep' overnight. Or install/remove things beyond necessities. So this wouldn't work in an office..
