New Seattle: here's $1 million bucks, but there's a catch

An art lover left his hometown about $1 million to buy a new fountain, but with a stipulation.

The late Stu Smailes made clear the work must include the figure of at least one life-size naked man.

[...]

According to court documents, the fountain bequest is to include "one or more unclothed, life-size male figure(s) designed in the classical style, i.e.: realistic,'' said Karen Bystrom at the City's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Gay and thumbing his nose at the establishment, or just wants to see (from the great beyond) if people can pull their heads out of their asses long enough to take the money?

New Business as usual for Seattle.
We'll take him up on it, of course - we may be snobs, but we recognize a good bargain when somebody waives it in front of us.

New Typo or really subtle?

New Too subtle for me...
...and there's no typo.

Unlike most of the country, for the most part Seattlites don't really have a problem with either the male or the female form in the nude. It's just damn cold up here, so you don't see a lot of it...

Clearly you have a security problem - and it's got nothing to do with computers.
