Welcome to IWETHEY!

New May be controls for that. If not, get a Hitachi. :-)
Lots of newer big monitors have controls for keystone, pincushion, etc.

Try degaussing it.

If you still don't like it, try to take it back.

I like my Hitachi 771 - [link|http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=19&manufactory=1095|here] is an assortment of Hitachis at NewEgg.

Best of luck.

Cheers,
Scott.

It's got all those functions, but...

Picture a perfect rectangle. The border of the display is about as much a perfect rectangle as I've ever seen on a monitor.

So if you open up a window, and drag it to the edge, you'll see that the border right along side the edge is running parallel to the edge -- and the one closer to the center is slanting to the left.

It's really disturbing and creepy.

I suppose I'll have to return it. Thought I'd fixed that stupid problem, though.

New As mentioned in orig. thread
That $200 LG 19" might be worth a look - based only on my exc. performance of a 'Studioworks 17i' over ~ 3ish years now.

I also don't know how the distortion you mention, could be buffered out via any trim coil I can grok - sounds like a bad gun or a dropped box, as a guess.
