Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Since Iraqi's want to attack us here
sent an email to Ayatolla Sistinai asking for advice, in my opinion he is a religious scholar as opposed to a kohmeini www.sistani.org
Greetings,
I am not a Muslim but am asking advice
I do not speak or read Arabic and hear many different translations and excuses by violent groups quoting Koran for their own reasons.
I have read the questions and answers from Ayatolla Sistani from this website and acknowledge his wisdom as a scholar of Muslim Religion just as we in the west recognise the pope as a scholar of catholisism
As a non believer is there an English translation of the Koran that is acceptable to his emminence for accuracy?

Second question, it has been reported that certain groups in Iraq wish to export the attacks there to America. In my cultural condition if one of my immediately family is attacked by violence we must respond until all of the original attackers tribal male members are dead. This means I will mourn my fellow countrymen but will not act unless my wife and children are dead. If this occurs is there any I incur an obligation for to kill those who attacked and also those who sent them. How would a non Iraqi be able to determine a honest Iraqi who is fighting against an occupation by a foreign power (I would be fighting against an occupation by Iraqi's in America) and those who pervert Islam for power?
thank you for your advice
note if anything happens to me and mine I will not be particular as I am old, I am bored and dont see too well anyway so a backpack of BlackBush 3 gallons, 200 hundred rounds of 7.62 and a spare kalishnilove with an 28 year old Iraqi Bint carrying ammo and a prejuidice against Sunni Insurgents.

New I'm interested in the reply to your first question.
I've heard in various places over the years that the Koran must be read in Arabic. See, e.g., [link|http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/|this] opinion on the subject:

Note that any translation of the Qur'an immediately ceases to be the literal word of Allah, and hence cannot be equated with the Qur'an in its original Arabic form.

I expect a similar answer to your question, but I would be interested in the reply you get.

Cheers,
Scott.

New So lemme get this straight...
...God speaks Arabic?!?

...Exclusively?!??

Now I've heard everything! (As we continue to happily and repeatedly anthropomorphize Godh...In the beginning, man created Godh in his own image....)
