My understanding is that this was not a full recount though. Only a small fraction of the votes where recounted. There have also been some questions about irregularities in the way the recount was done. Personally, I don't doubt that Bush won Ohio. But I also don't doubt that there where wide spread problems with the voting system and a number of things done that amount to fraud. Jay

W/ nothing but the balloting machine's memory w/ which to work, I wouldn't expect any major changes in the outcome. The problem is, if there was voter fraud, we'll never know. It will not be enough to show that Democratic districts got fewer voting machines per voter, they need to find a memo from Blackwell telling people to make it that way. Jay
