We're already doing what he said, getting the sugary stuff into him. If he's still got the shakes in an hour or so we're taking him in for IV fluids.

He's had it long enough he and my mother are pretty sure when it's time to panic. Only problem is he never gets sick. My mother thinks this is the first time he's vomited since he had a heart attack back in '86.

Try Ginger pills. They work for me, to keep nausea down, and don't usually upset my stomach or come right back up.

Give that a shot, they are found at most vitamin stores and drug stores.
