I have an XP3200
I can say this:
compared it to a P4 3.2GHz with nearly same specs on the motherboard, but exactly the same Video card and such.
Peter, go blow it out yur arse. the P4 isn't half the Processor the (early) PIII (with 512KB of cache) was. Sure it is faster, but the geewhiz factor is completely lost, the AthlonXP 3200 and the P4 3.2GHz are nearly equal in performance.
Now then A64 and other Opteron and such processors are nice. Even the Nocona is very nice.
