Jamie Fox (who never impressed me before) is Ray Charles. He has it down - the speaking voice, the walk, the rockin at the piano. Its very easy to see Ray Charles, not an actor portraying Ray Charles. More than any other biopic I've ever seen, the actor simply disappeared. The music jams - largely because it is Ray Charles. But the sync is perfect too. I mean really perfect. Go see it. You cannot lose. I only saw Jaimie Foxx twice, very briefy for about 10 seconds, the rest was ray charles. The only thing I wished they could have included was the best rendition of our national anthem I have ever heard by Ray, great movie regards, daemon that way too many Iraqis conceived of free society as little more than a mosh pit with grenades. It doesn't have the Star Spangled Banner, but it does have the most moving rendition of America the Beautiful I've ever heard.
