The Democrat party was completely taken over by the terrorist-loving Left in early 2003. Before that they were owned by the squishy left starting in the mid 1960s. And before that they were largely beholden to Jim Crow.

Judging by this past week's results, the Religious Right must be doing something.. er... right.

Either that or the Religious Right had far less to do with it than you imagine, and it was an alliance of the progressive Right, neocons and war Libertarians that made it happen, or else the Democrat party just screwed themselves over royally with a bad platform and a bad candidate. Or maybe it was a backlash against all the heavy-handed Bush hating from the Left both at home and overseas, and against billionaire swindler George Soros. Take your pick. Maybe it was a combination of all the above.

(There's no doubt the Guardian's stunt in Clark County blew up in their faces. Never mind the Global Test. The "globe" doesn't have a clue.)

At any rate, somebody did something right, and it wasn't the Democrats. So when you're looking for someone to blame, that's the place to start.
