Please don't refer to them as Repubs, Repos,
or anything recalling any part of the term 'Republic'...
I think they should be called what they are. Neocons. A new party.

as Repubs... Republishers of History.
Republishers of News that happened 50 years ago... but is being repeated recently.
Republishers of Mistakes already shown to not work 20-30-40-50 years ago.
Republishers on Spin Control.
Republishers of the Constitution and Declaration of Indepence... err or as an Episode of Fairly Odd Parents(tm): Declaration of Surrenderpendence.
Basically, They are all mud.

I don't hate Republicans.
I hate Neocons.
Republicans are not hate-filled warmongers.
Republicans believe in fiscal responsibility.
Neocons have repudiated those principles, and more.
All that matters the Neocons is the naked lust for raw power.
And Neocons don't posess the honesty or the strength of character to even claim a name of thier own.
Instead, they cling to the illusion that they have some great tradition or history, like an infant with a security blanket.

Sure that's not just projection?
The great thing about the Neocons is there are a lot of things they won't say or do or refrain from saying or doing, just to be popular. That's precisely what pisses people off about them.
I'm a proud member of the progessive Right, which is more or less the same thing as the Neocons, probably. (It's exactly the same thing as a late 19th century liberal.) And I've got a naked lust for specific, requisite means to specific, laudable ends.
Power for the sake of power is something George Orwell rightly associated with the Left. Those guys will say or do *anything* to get and keep power. Including betray their own stated ends.
Oh, and fiscal responsbility doesn't mean at all the same thing in wartime as in peacetime.
