Something like the defense appropriations bill that Bush has been hammering him over can't be defended in a sound bite, even though his actions at the time made plenty of sense. If the typical North American Potbellied Beersucker could be made to slow down long enough to actually have time to think about their position, that particular issue would be a non-. Problem is, the world is a complex place, and Bush likes (at least in his campaigning) to make it a very simple one. All I want for my birthday is a new President!
