"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New In your case, I can understand it...
...but for the most part, this is bullshit. There are already too many homeless cats that need homes for us to be breeding GMOs...
All I want for my birthday is a new President!
New If someone with allergies can't take it, it remains homeless

Implicitly condoning stupidity since 2001.
New Like I said, "someone in your case"...
New The people who will spend $3500 for a cat ...
... wouldn't be picking up a stray from the pound anyway.

New this statement seems false
As long as people don't start eating cats and they don't enter the food chain
Wouldn't the cats will enter the food chain once they die and are buried...

New Feed the cats to the rats ...
...and the rats to the cats ...

... and get the cat skins for nothing!

New It might not work so well
They just remove one cat-specific allergen from the cat. There are plenty of others. If, for instance, you're allergic to dogs and dogs today then you'll be allergic to these cats as well.

Furthermore they don't intend to deliver for 3 years. It sounds to me like they are promising something that they haven't quite figured out how to do yet, but think they will. Maybe it will work, maybe there will be glitches, maybe they'll run out of money and never deliver.

Cheers,
Ben
