Nah, I think it was something else
Like the fact that we had over a dozen stuffed Red Birds in here watching the game and rooting for the Cardinals.
I don't own a stuffed Astro. I don't even know what one would look like! ;)

For some Astro
Go to your local hardware store, look for the Astro turf
/me ducks and hides.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"

Re: For some Astro
Go to your local hardware store, look for the Astro turf /me ducks and hides. Hahaha! That's a good one, Jbrabeck! Actually, I learned the secret of why the Cards won after all. My husband pointed out to me that whenever his company had a spirit day, and they ran the TV in the lobby and showed the game, and everyone wore red, the Cardinals won. The few times they chose not to have a spirit day on game day, they lost. So the company has decided to have spirit days every day of the Series from here on out (and they started with the tail end of the round Vs the Astros.) Nightowl >8#

Good idea!
Maybe I can find an Astronaut bear or something next time that can root for the Astros.
I only have one Long Horn, and he's really little, and I have two rattlesnakes and they're really huge. :)

Houston, we have a problem
I would hope that those stuffed dolls have been stuck with long sharp needles in your attempt to hex the Cardinals against your favorite team?

I would hope that those stuffed dolls have been stuck with long sharp needles in your attempt to hex the Cardinals against your favorite team? They aren't dolls, they're critters. ;) And no, of course not, because I teach all my critters to be good sports, and the Texas critters are included in that. ;) Mostly they are Armadillos and Long Horns and Rattlesnakes. Nightowl >8# Edit: P.S. And I would have brought the Armadillos upstairs to root for the Astros, except John hates Armadillos and they are only allowed to be in the basement. :)

Well, I'm not stuffed...
...and I'm not particularly young nor husky, but I am a Critter by name.
