Shitbum. Throw him out of baseball and scratch his "records".
Compare this zero to Albert Pujols or Roberto Beltran. MVP? yeah - most vacuous punk.

No clear policy.
Until there is, you can be pissed off all you want. Bonds, regardless of the juice, will still be one of the best to ever play.
And...there are plenty of folks in the league that are undeniably juiced...and they can't hit like Barry.
You don't like him.
Fine.
He's still good.

Do we?
So its back to Roger. But wait, he had more games. So Ruth gets the home run mark back.
It doesn't matter.
Bonds doesn't need to homerun mark to be the best hitter baseball has ever seen.
All he needs is the endorsement of the previous best hitter baseball has ever seen.
He has that. Hank said it just a couple months ago.
So he is a jerk.
He is still that good.

Nit
Bonds won't be "the best hitter baseball has ever seen", merely the guy who will set the most home runs record.
I'll still rate Ty Cobb and his .367 lifetime average in the era of a "non-juiced" ball as the best hitter ever.

Ty would have had some competition from Chino Smith.
[link|http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/history/mlb_negro_leagues_profile.jsp?player=smith_chino|Chino Smith]: When Smith hit .341, as a rookie, he was just getting started. He hit .439 while with Brooklyn in 1927. Then while with the New York Lincoln Giants, Smith hit .464 (with 23 homers) in 1929 and a .468 mark in 1930.
Smith's sizzling stick was rarely stifled. Against Major League competition, he batted .405, and hit a homer in his first-ever at-bat. Barry Bonds may pass him in home runs, but Bonds is no [link|http://www.brainyencyclopedia.com/encyclopedia/h/ha/hank_aaron.html|Hank Aaron] - one of the last Negro League players to enter the Majors. E.g. [link|http://www.baseball-reference.com/b/bondsba01.shtml|Bonds] has 5556 total bases while Aaron has 6856. Cheers, Scott.

Just telling you
[link|http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5993528/|I'm not qualified to argue with Hank]. \ufffdHe has to be the greatest hitter that I\ufffdve seen,\ufffd Aaron said then, \ufffdor heard of.\ufffd
His rationale was simple.
\ufffdI think some people say Ted Williams, and Ted was good, because he was the last to hit .400. But who knows? If they had pitched to Barry, he may have hit .450. I don\ufffdt know. That\ufffds a possibility.\ufffd

Most important stats
Aaron has a heart, a soul, and a personality. Bonds has none of these.

I always thought Rod Carew was the best hitter
from the point of view that he didn't have power to put the ball out of the park, so he had to be a batting strategist.
