Ooh! I MUST try that!

Accuracy sucks...
A little research is in order. My next design review meeting (tomorrow morning) is going to have some interesting events, assuming I can avoid shooting someone in the eye... I suspect that I won't be able to shoot at people. I have chopped up one of those pink erasers into half cm squares, and those aren't too accurate either. Problem: how to work designing work-safe projectiles into my budget...

Staples and straws and tape.
Everybody get straws from MickeyD's, BK Lounge and such.... Use that as the shaft, Staples as the counter balance (a few of them) and the "sight"
Also cut 1 straw in half length wise for "rails" and tape them on.
Then watch your accuracy get better... Next inclination accuracy.
Use the chain a light switch, and hang an A frame above the end... muahahaha.

Overkill
Take a piece of paper. Cut it into a 4 x 4 inch square. Fold it until it is nothing more than a tight skinny fat strip.
Hold rubberband between thunb and index finger.
Pull.
Aim.
Fire.
I'm deadly with this up to about 15 feet.

Cute, but...
It doesn't work too well. It needs some kind of shuttle on the launch band to catch the pen reliably.
I also got rid of the other band and just clipped the alligator clip onto the plastic of the case. The band didn't hold it on the end properly.
