They are simply cheaper. What I was so surprised about, was the least the President could have said, when asked, "What would you say to someone who lost their job because it was outsourced overseas?" was maybe, "I'm truly sorry you lost your job, or shown SOME sort of empathy for the person losing their job, not just have replied in a way that served only to make them feel like a uneducated twit.
