Unbelievable!
I'm watching the debate...
Did you all hear Bush's answer to what to say to someone who has lost their job overseas????
He says he'll provide them an education so that they are qualified for good jobs also.
WHAT THE FU*K????
He in essence just said that the overseas people are better qualified than the ones here in the states... and that they in essence deserve those jobs and citizens here do not....
I can't believe it. They aren't necessarily BETTER, they're just CHEAPER!

Did you hear that one?
Bush just said he believed Government should stand side by side with citizens to help them realize or live out their dreams, not tell them how to live their lives...
Isn't this the guy that wanted to change the constitution to forbid gay marriage?
ROFL!!

The conundrums outweigh the paradoxes...
but your right about (at least) one thing: Bush is a fuckin' moron!

I'm surprised he got "Iraq" right. (Maybe it was a misspelling of "Irack"?)

The Daily Show
had Shiffer on last week and the daily show writers suggested the question "When you said we have to invade and disarm Iraq before they get nuclear weapons - did you actually mean Iran?"
That was lovely cheese.

Missing the point here.
Most of the jobs that have gone overseas aren't coming back, and there's nothing anyone can do about that.
The point is get trained for the jobs that are still here.

No, I don't think so
I realize they aren't coming back, but that doesn't necessarily mean the people overseas are more experienced or better than those here. They are simply cheaper.
What I was so surprised about, was the least the President could have said, when asked, "What would you say to someone who lost their job because it was outsourced overseas?" was maybe, "I'm truly sorry you lost your job, or shown SOME sort of empathy for the person losing their job, not just have replied in a way that served only to make them feel like a uneducated twit.

I've always wanted to sweep a broom in Wal-Mart
locked in overnight on weekends, away from the family, making minimum wage, can't afford the company offered health care because I don't make enough. Yep, that's the American Dream.
