The Rasam was quite spicy hot on the first byte, but that changed with every successive byte. It was most excellent after the palate adjusted. The entire dinner was delicious. The fresh dates and the coconut based drink (Parrot juice was it?) were brand new experiences.

Indeed, the GPS unit requires a proper address to get one to the desired location. I managed to drop the most significant digit of Andrew's street address. So, after (passing his house twice and) referring to a printed copy of Andrew's email figured out my error.

The California "freeways" are something else. Other then when they are like a parking lot, of course. It took an hour and a half to get to Andrew, and a half hour to get back to the motel in Chino. And there's a mental attitude required in driving the freeways. More than once my wife reached for handle above the door on our Volvo, but absent on the rental auto.

The cap with the IWeThey logo was something that my wife Brenda made at my request. She digitized the logo design for her embroidery machine, embroidered a piece of cloth, and the appliqu\ufffdd the cloth to the cap.
