They booed a man facing open heart surgery. I hated Clinton while he was in office, but for Christ's sake! -drl

Not being there, it's impossible for me to say what happened. And we know from Dean's Scream that audio can be misleading. FWIW. Cheers, Scott.

Bush did nothing to stop them." Pretty damning, except that AP soon changed its story, only after the original appeared on many Web sites. Several Web sites revealed that AP "retracted" the report "citing uncertainties about how to characterize the crowd's reaction."
