Post #17,261 by orion 11/7/01 9:07:21 PM Reply	Is it still a "Primary" partition or is it an Externded partition? I am not sure if an Extended partition can boot, but I know that a primary one will. You also may have to update the boot files, just Re-SYS the partition if it is a primary one. See if that helps. I hope you kept your Windows/DOS boot disks. *Picking up the pieces of my broken life.*

Extended partitions can boot, OS/2 and Linux do that fine. Only Windows requires itself to be in a Primary Partition.
