Excerpt:
NEW YORK - Sen. John F. Kerry told an interviewer he had been too
busy to receive a national security briefing on the threat of an
imminent terrorist attack on the United States, and then went to a
celebrity-packed fund-raising concert at Radio City Music Hall.
In an appearance on CNN's ``Larry King Live'' on Thursday night,
Kerry was asked about the warning, earlier that day, that al-Qaeda was
planning a large-scale attack on the United States to disrupt the
upcoming political conventions and the election.
King asked Kerry for his reaction, and he replied, ``Well, I
haven't been briefed yet, Larry. They have offered to brief me. I just
haven't had time.''
A few hours later, he attended the star-studded fund-raiser.

the time?

...but don't tell Kerry. He doesn't want to know.
