Actually I did pretty well
since I had gotten through my annual physical on the previous day with all systems go.
Slightly OT:
While in the midst of the most dreaded part of that annual (I'll spare details for those of you males under forty, so as not to spoil the surprise. You males forty or over, you know *exactly* which part I'm talking about.)
Anyway, we're (the [female] nurse practitioner and I) are right in the middle of this when the receptionist beeps her on the intercom, asking her to pick up a phone call.
While we're standing there, her finger firmly implanted in my body.
I felt like screaming, "SHE'S A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW!!!!"
