New Low Carb is so . . . . yesterday.
The evidence is irrefutable. The Wall Street Journal today reported that Low Carb specialty stores are starting to close, Low Carb product sales growth is dwindling (most sales growth is now from the large number of new products still hitting the market).

Products recently brought to market have failed to meet marketing plans, so prices are being slashed and the product blood bath is about to begin.

In related news (Los Angeles Times Sunday Business) beef consumption is down about 3% from 1990, but beef eaters are paying a stiff price, paying 50% more for their dead cow than in 1990 due to dwindling herds. Much of the herd decline is weather related but increasingly aging cattle farmers are using current high prices to cash out of the business. Prices are expected to continue higher.
